Chapter 43: Decided to Pamper Myself
It’s 3:30 AM, and the world feels so still. I’m sitting here with my Teddy, who is a little damp but smells so fresh. Today was one of those days that felt like a lifetime of lessons packed into a few hours.
The Girl at the Parlor:
I went in for a Haircut and a Hydra-O3 Cleanup with a D-Tan pack. While I was there to pamper myself, I found a reflection of exhaustion instead. There was this girl, working all alone where there used to be a team of four. She had been working since morning and told me her shift might last until 2:00 AM. When she dropped her tools while cutting my hair, I didn't see a "bad stylist"; I saw a tired soul. My heart went out to her. I saw the sorrow in her eyes when the owner suggested she’d be sent to my house—she just wanted to rest. I’m glad I said no. I’m glad I didn't add to her burden.
A Moment of Truth:
Amidst all the expensive salon packs, I asked her a simple, innocent question: "What do YOU use at home for your hair shine?" For a second, the 'saleswoman' vanished. She looked at me and shared a real secret—Curd and Vitamin E. It felt so honest. In a world of chemicals, she gave me a piece of home.
The Little Things Matter:
On my way back, I spent a little on my sick friend—getting her Electrol and Glucose because her fever was so high. It made me feel good to care for her. And then, I treated myself to a simple ready-to-eat pizza. It was fresh, warm, and felt like a small celebration of a day well-spent.
The Salt Ritual:
When I got home, I felt the need to wash away all the heavy energy. I washed my favorite Dark Blue dress and my Teddy with a pinch of salt. I’ve always believed salt absorbs the negativity and "bad vibes." Now, my dress is dry and smells like 'Comfort,' and my Teddy is pure again.
The Blessing:
Before I left, that girl gave me a blessing. She said, "If you value yourself and take care of your soul, God will grant you abundance." I want to believe her. I want to believe that being kind, being smart, and standing my ground for my self-respect is the right path.
I am a girl who finds magic in small things. I find it in the scent of a clean dress, the comfort of a damp Teddy, the warmth of a simple pizza, and the power of a heartfelt prayer.
Goodnight, world. My heart is light, and my soul is clean. 🧸💙🧂
